About Anchor Cross
Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation (ACCF) is a public charity that has been designated as tax-exempt by the Internal Revenue Service under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We fund our administrative support and operating expenses through professional industry events. This means that our overhead and salary expenses do not come from public fundraisers or charitable donations. The funds that we raise within our local community go back into our community to help cancer patients in Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation determines to whom financial assistance is awarded on a case-by-case basis. For more information call (251) 607-5081 to speak with our foundation director.
ACCF uses philanthropic support to help those who need it most when faced with seemingly overwhelming challenges. Cancer is an emotionally and physically challenging disease, a disease that typically comes with financial implications. Generosity and support from our local communities can help provide additional resources for the hardships that patients may face. Our foundation strives to allow patients to focus on their health during their fight with cancer by assisting them with financial burdens.
If you or someone you love have been affected by cancer, you know the physical, mental and financial strain it brings. Many insured patients still face incredibly high co-pays for medication and treatment.
Patients often struggle to keep their power on and pay other basic household bills. Some cannot afford gas or repairs to their car preventing them from getting to and from treatment.
